Ryan had his 6 month check up today...he got an A+! :)
He weighs 18 pounds 5 ounces, which is 50-75%. He's 27.3 inches long, which is 75-90%. Dr. Nail thought he looked great and was really impressed that he could get himself into a seated position already! He said that was more of an 8-9 month skill...go Ryan!
I looked back in Kelly's baby book...she was 17 pounds 10 oz. and 27.5 inches long at 6 months, so they are just about the same size!
Ryan and Kelly also got their flu shots today...Kelly was so brave and went first...not a single tear before the shot and just a few afterwards...Daddy told her he'd make her a chocolate malt after dinner if she was a good girl for Dr. Nail and she didn't forget it! :) Ryan had his flu shot and two others...poor little man! He was real fussy after his late afternoon nap...just laid on my chest and snuggled, wimpering every once in a while...it was so sad! I gave him some tylenol and he perked up a bit before bedtime...hopefully he'll feel better tomorrow.
Oh! I measured Kelly while we were at Dr. Nail's...she's 41 inches tall...I really thought she'd be taller, but that's a 1/2 inch taller than June! We were expecting a little more since she was able to touch in the swimming pool a couple of days ago! :)

after they aren't babies anymore, do they get fussy, etc. after shots? charlie has her flu shot scheduled for the day before our next photo shoot with leigh, and i want to make sure that's not going to impact her mood...
