Kelly's Eye Surgery

Kelly had her eye surgery this morning to correct her strabismus...she did great! She wasn't afraid at all and when it was her turn to go back she jumped up, put on her "costume" (hospital gown) and took off with the doctor and nurse...she was a little cranky when she came out of anesthesia, but after they gave her some additional pain medication she was fine. Once we got home this afternoon she was back to her old self, just like Dr. Stager said she would be!

Her eyes are both pretty bloodshot on the outside edges...and that may get worse before it gets better, but they don't seem to bother her. She's having a little double vision (when we got home she saw Ryan and said, "Look! Two Baby Ryans"!) but that will go away over the next few weeks.

We'll have a follow up appointment next week and I'll keep everyone posted!
