Swimming!!!

Summer is in full swing!  We've been swimming fools lately and are grateful that we have lots of friends that are willing to share their pools with us!  Yes, we have the neighborhood pool, but its so much more fun to swim with friends, right?  Today we went swimming at Alyson and Brittan's house...of course I forgot Kelly's suit so she had to borrow one which she thought was awesome because she and Brittan matched.  Here are the girls...

Ryan had fun too...he has started his swimming lessons and today was "that kid" that cried and threw a fit...not because he doesn't like swimming, but because he didn't want to be carted around the pool like a baby...he wanted to "jump" in!  He loves to stand on the edge and hold my hands and jump...

Ryan is also learning to blow bubbles...right now he doesn't get it and just laps up the water with his tongue like a puppy!  Here's a shot of him giving it a try....

Kelly finished up her swim lessons last week and is doing great...she's a little mermaid!  I finally feel like she can swim unassisted and she does a great job...she'll jump off diving boards and swim to the side...today she even did a  cannonball!  We're working on getting dive rings off the bottom...she can do it with a little push, but we are trying to learn to do it all by herself.  I think with a little practice she'll have that down soon!
